Crop and Straighten Example

*First I downloaded the picture off of OneNote.
*Second I opened the file in Photoshop
*Third I cropped the picture by clicking the crop button on the left of Photoshop and then just cropped the people on the left out.
*Fourth I clicked the straighten tool (looks like a handle bag on the top)
*Fifth I dragged the tool from the beginning of the ocean to across the crooked ocean line
Finally I clicked saved image as a jpeg and uploaded to here.

Sketchbook-  This is my "blank canvas" - an area in which I can do anything I want. I can create many moments in this book that are unique and my own. It also allows me to express myself
Ruler - Allows me to accurately measure and space things out to make my art more symmetrical
Pencil - Or so to speak, my graphite pencil, allowing me to actually create the art
Prisma Colored Pencils- Very high quality colored pencils that allow me to make my artwork pop
Skull Candy Headphones- Helps me to calm down and be relaxed while I draw, I cannot draw without them
Drawing Mannequin - Helps me to draw the human body more accurately

About The Artist

My name is Avian and I am a junior in the "Red Building" at Brockton High School. I am most drawn to photography and drawings that include lots of shading/values. I like to create art and pictures for self-expression as well as beauty (to make aesthetically pleasing pieces of art). I believe that everything in life can be captured with your eyes. However, you could lose onto that visual memory so a picture is permanent tangible object that you can have forever. That is why I have decided to take photography, to get better at capturing moments in life and be above average with the skill.
